Mr. Peterson is one of the best teachers Arcadia has to offer. If anyone is unhappy with him it is because of their own illogical and selfish reasons. Arcadia and the SUSD would do its self a great disservice if he were to be let go!

I agree with Kim Valdez, Mr. Peterson is the person who made us high schoolers want to go to class to learn and create memories with our classmates. Through education he also instilled laughter, fun times, and a bond within our classmates that we'd always cherish and learn from. Let him continue to teach otherwise your kids are missing out on real life teaching of the modern day! #PosseUp ~TheFullNElson

Mr. Peterson was my favorite teacher at Arcadia High. He helped me believe in myself even when I didn't. He helped me realize that I could connect with the white hot center of my emotions and channel them into powerful words to express myself in my writing. He seemed like one of the only teachers that really cared about me and what was going on in my life. I lived for his class! He brought literature to life and showed us passages that sparked the interest of freshman students--which is hard to do!

Mr. Peterson is a gifted and unforgettable teacher, one of the finest I have encountered in all my years of learning (including undergraduate, graduate, and post-grad educational experiences in NYC). I have found that Mr. P's passion for teaching, his knowledge, dedication and ability to inspire his students is unparalleled.

Mr Peterson was the best teacher I had while attending Arcadia. He challenged us to grow, read, and actually enjoy learning. And he succeeded. Anyone who took his class, loved it and loved learning due to his tactics. Not allowing him to continue would be a shame. I remember loving to write due to his class, and to not allow students that pleasure would truly be taking away a amazing learning opportunity for students now and In The future. There will always be people holding back growth, don't be one of them.
