My sister had Mr. Peterson and he was one of the most valuable English teachers she has had. I know he taught many of my fellow classmates important skills as well. Students will read many controversial things throughout their educational career. Trust me, I am a college student.

Mr. Peterson is one of the best educators I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. He is a unique teacher that always pushed me to succeed. In fact, he taught me more than any professor I had at my undergraduate or law school, because he taught me the value of the opportunity of education. Not to mention that, but without what I learned from him about writing as well as critical analysis of literature, I wouldn't have made it nearly as far I have. For the sake of the community, and of course for the sake of Mr. P's interest to continue to practice his passion and livelihood, allow Mr. P to keeping teaching at Arcadia. I wouldn't be where I am without him. Not even close.

Mr. P is the most passionate teacher I've ever had. He changed the way my 15 year old mind thought about literature and about life.

This is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous! How about the rich parent complainers teach their own kids something??? Most of my graduating class had been in and out of rehab facilities for narcotics because their parents just threw money at them instead of time, love and support. Now, they want to place blame on a great teacher students love?!! Look in the mirror you POS PARENTS! Get off your high horse and teach reality to your children. How dare these people. Mr. P is very well loved by students, unlike how they feel about their parents and home life. Can't buy me love!!! Get it you crappy, rich parents?? Shut the eff up!!!! Or, give me the names of your employers so I can conduct my own performance review!!!!

I can never thank Mr. P enough for teaching me to think so critically and creatively. He sacrificed many lunch breaks during my senior year of high school to workshop my college essay with me. It turned out to be a beautiful, original piece of writing that allowed me to get into the university of my dreams. No words to explain the magic of Mr. P.

Dave Peterson is the one of the best English teachers at Arcadia and in the entire SUSD school, district. For more than 20 years this gifted teacher has raised the bar and challenged students to think outside of the box. He prepares them for the world as creative thinkers and problem solvers- would you want anything less for the students who will ultimately run corporations, elected office and world wide positions- I think not.
