People this day and age are so sensitive. Arcadia wouldnt allow him to teach anything offensive. Parents need to stop coddling their children and allow them to grow up to be people.

Mr. P is exactly what an English teacher should be. He presents literature to his students in the way that these classic authors sought to present it to their readers. He asked for our honest interpretations. Maybe you didn't want to hear it. But our interpretations and discussions stemmed from what lived in our brains, not Mr. P. To remove him would be to ban literature and condemn the thoughts of our youth.

i was lucky enough to be taught four ears ago in Mr. P's English 1 honors class Catcher In The Rye and he taught it amazingly and none of us were ever offended by any literature we were taught. It's disgusting that they would fire one of almost everyone's favorite English teacher in our school.

He was the best english teacher and made my freshman year at Arcadia amazing! Losing him will hurt the school.

I have had four children graduate from Arcadia High School and consider David Peterson to be in their top 3 teachers. his method was to interest the students, give th3m enthusiasm for learning and to 0repare them for the future. he succeeded!

Mr. Peterson is one of the best teachers I ever had, and I am appalled that anyone would even consider termination of such an amazing and inspirational figure in my life. I still have the book he gave me on the last day of school and think of him often.

One of my all time favorite teachers the school would be stupid to fire him.
My favorite teacher. His uncanny ability to grab the attention of every student in his class each day was that of not all teachers. Letting him go would be a negative change to Arcadia.
