Without Metro Coffee on campus, I would be lost. Their coffee is the best in town, and the staff are irreplaceable. Relocating Metro would be a huge mistake.

One of my favorite spots while I was a student at UWT.... And still one of my favorite places to grab a drink, a snack,visit with friends and colleagues .
Metro is part of the UWT experience and I hope it remains a fixture on the campus for many years to come.

Metro Coffee is an "institution" at UWT, one of the few places where one finds intellectual life, academic discussions, and an interesting cultural environment beyond the classroom. I support this initiative.

My time at UWT has been exponentially better because of Stef and Metro Coffee. Repurposing this space would be a huge loss and a detrimental mistake for the students. As a Sustainable Urban Development model that champions local economic support for small businesses as a component of the cure for a down-turned economy, I find the necessity of this petition very disturbing.

Please keep Metro Coffee. It is an institution on campus and the people who own and operate Metro formed wonderful memories for me at UWT. I love their coffee, the atmosphere, and the people. A year after graduating from UW Tacoma with my MEd, I'm proud to still have a card on file with Metro Coffee.

I study in Metro almost every day I'm on campus. I love that I'm able to get work done, support a local business, and be served by some of the most kind, thoughtful, and genuine people I've ever met. Losing Metro would be a true loss to the UWT community and a disservice to all of the students who frequent there. Thst space is being filled perfectly now and repurposing it would be a huge mistake.

Our campus can not be urban serving if it wants to repurpose a small business that gets much of its business from our students. If it's moved, one of it's primary advantages over the also local corporate starbucks will be stripped. Decisions like these should not be left to the school board as locations like the Metro are important to the student's.

Metro to so many it is the heart of our campus. Even the mention of moving this business from our campus is intolerable. Please sign this petition and don't let such a unique part of our campus culture get stripped away.

Metro Coffee is a critically important asset to UWT's campus! Its staff is divinely wonderful and the space is friendly and welcoming. Metro is a great force for good.
