Metro Coffee is an integral part of the campus community of UWT. It is a unique, welcoming space for UWT staff, faculty, students and community members. Something very important will be lost if Metro Coffee is forced to vacant its current space. I want to see it stay exactly where it is in the heart of campus.

Small businesses should be important to Tacoma as well as having options. Please think twice before removing Metro Coffee. Its historic nature helps to make the campus more homey for those of us who do not attend UWT.

I love Starbucks. But students don't always have the time to run all the way down the stairs and stand in line. Metro is awesome when you have classes in the science building, Going into Metro is like stepping back in time and a part of UWT. There are plenty of other locations they can use for whatever their repurpose plans are.

There's too much shitty coffee in this town. But if Metro has to move, I will personally welcome them to Proctor with open arms.

Metro Coffee is an integral part of our campus, a wonderful small business that supports local roasters and a great alternative to coffee moguls such as Starbucks. Plus they have the best tasting coffee in the city, UWT would not be the same without the Metro!!

Do not close Metro! I will be extremely disappointed with the UW community if they move Metro out. It was a safe and friendly enviornment for me to do my homework during break hours, or grab a quick coffee when I had to be on campus at 7am. I love supporting small and independently owned businesses - I refuse to buy from Starbucks! If Metro is taken away you are forcing more people to buy from a corporation that is potentially not good for our environment. Metro was very sustainable and a memorable part of my life here at UWT.

Metro Coffee has such a great atmosphere and is always filled with people getting together to catch up, have meetings, or do homework. It would be a shame to lose this communal gathering place for the UWT community.
