The library is a good place to be because there's lots of stuff you can do there and you can learn lots of stuff on the iPads. You can learn stuff on the computers and it's easy to just go there when someone has work and they can't have their kids at their work with them. It's a nice place to be. The computers can also help kids learn a lot by games and stuff that might actually happen at school. It's a nice place to be after school because sometimes you can meet other people there and it's not that far from school and it's easy to walk there and just stay there. It's a nice place to be, a really nice place to be. They do crafts sometimes and in the morning they have storytime and it's nice to read books and helping kids do crafts on Monday and stuff like that. I think that the library is a really, really nice place to be and there's lots of books that I like reading and there's movies that you can take out. Some of the movies are really important at the end, and sometimes in the beginning, and in the middle. There's lots of cool crafts that even some older kids and even some adults like doing. There's even lots of board games sometimes that are fun to play almost every year. There are really fun games and sometimes there are crafts at the library that are included as board games. I have my own library card because it's fun to take out books and you really need a library card to get books.

The greatest treasure in any community is the minds of the people. When people, especially young people, have opportunities to explore new ideas, expand their minds, and develop their potential, who knows what they will achieve? As a community, Fort Smith needs to make reading, literacy, and intellectual development a priority. All the funding seems to be devoted to sports activities. Sports are beneficial, but they should not be financed at the expense of the library, which promotes reading and development of the mind. We can't allow our community to cut back on programs that support education and intellectual development.
