This is a disgrace - Malones are bringing trade to the City Centre and business to a number of companies too. There is no reasonable reason to stop this development. Why would the Tories of all parties block a business development? Shame.

Wrong decision. How is this going to 'lower the tone' of the area? Absolutely ridiculous.

Any Irish person in Edinburgh knows that Malones feels like a home away from home, to deny them this especially during the christmas period is disappointing.

A free live music venue beside the Christmas market .. what is not to like? Would be a loss if not allowed to go ahead.

Could just try negotiate a way for everyone to be happy. The venue is a positive, one of a kind and highly popular addition to Princes Street.

Was a great success during festival, no houses nearby provided good entertainment for tourists and showcased edinburgh musicians.

Had a lot of great moments at Malones with the live music and with the great views of the city outdoors this venue was truly one of its kind. It would be great to have it up and running again.
