Malones was a great wee pop up bar, good atmosphere and a great location. Such a shame that it's not up this year, will be missed. Bring it back asap!

The Free Fringe supports Malone's on the Mall and hopes that it will operate over the festive season as well as during the Fringe.

Why has the mallones not been givens permit , never once seen trouble and was the best night in Edinburgh. Terrible decision.

It is nice when visiting Edinburgh at these festival times to have enjoyable entertainment like Malone's provided in the summer

The fact that this petition site didn’t allow me to write O’Neill properly in the name area shows lack of awareness. This is blatant anti Irish bias. They may as well put up the “ no Irish need apply” signs again. The Irish and Scots are all Celts, what is the problem?!

Malone’s has been an excellent addition to the city and to refuse planning permission is not only denying job opportunities in the form of bar staff and musicians, but also denying an excellent, vibrant venue in the heart of Edinburgh. The decision needs to be seriously reconsidered.
