DECLARATION OF SUPPORT FOR IRISH LOCAL DEVELOPMENT COMPANIES

Ridiculous proposal to revert to top-down rural development which hands the future of rural areas to non-experts who have no experience or training in how to develop rural areas.

Absolute joke, local authorities are not aware nor will they take on the work that the LCDP are doing!

when we needed help you were there now we want to help you,

co councils dont work well

i fully support the work of Ballyhoura Development and believe it should be retained to continue it's very valuable work.

total support for ballyhoura and all they done for me personally helped me with cvs cover notes work and courses. would still be looking for work only for them

I wish to support the continued existence of the 50 Local Development Companies in Ireland

West Limerick Resources is of vital importance to the welfare of the local community.

Keep these companies for rural areas

A Civic reception has just been accorded to Avondhu Blackwater Partnership by Mayoress and Fermoy town Council . no more needs to be said about the great work and value the area is getting from this very important partnership and it needs to be left as is . thank you.

Is it too late? Several months ago I e-mailed Minister Hogan/Deenihan, all the South Kerry TDs, all the councillors in Kerry and nothing has happened. Losing the tremendous help given by SKDP over many years would be a disaster for South Kerry. What else can be done to bring the powers- that- be to heel?

grants & management of such should stay out of county councils interfreance.

We recieved excellent support guidance and service from Cavan Monaghan Leader in Delivering a €300,000 project in Virginia Co Cavan

As a community we have received great support through Cavan Monaghan Leader as a joint venture supported through Monaghan Integrated Development Ltd and Cavan Integrated Development Ltd. The work these groups do is of major importance to rural communities.

I have received funding in the past and without this funding I would not have been able to do trade shows abroad in an effort to get my brand known, so this funding and support was an amazing asset to me.

Independent local development support is vital to keep communities in rural areas. We have experienced outstanding support by Leader in previous years and we support the continuation of the 50 existing and dedicated local development companies in Ireland.

I consider it would be a serious retrograde step to abolisg Cavan Monaghan Leader Company
