The cldc initiative is vital to local deveopment all over the county. To interfere with its core structure and subsequent funding will prove diasterous to future development and training within local communities.

We are very happy with the level of service supplied by the IDP. this is an excellent organisation providing much needed services in our local community. We have serious concerns in connection with the proposed local government reforms which would see local authorities taking control of the LEADER programme and the local community Development programme. The delivery of these programmes is excellent as they stand and we would not like to see things change. Thank You

Local Development Companies should continue as the lead in local and community development. The service offered by the staff at West Limerick Resources will not be equalled by any other organisation taking over this area of work. They know the people and the area and are willing to put hugh amounts of time and energy into helping communities and individuals

The work of this organisation is an excellent template on how to help the marginalised people in Irish society. The excellent and often hidden and unappreciated creative work of this group of very talented people deserves to be better known and supported.
