It is essential that LDC's continue and expand--many services depend on them---they encourage volunteerism and create jobs, wealth and improve the quality of many lives--at miniscule cost.

As a member of the back to work scheme I would not be in the position of intergrating myself back to working force only for all the support I received for the DLDC. If somethng is not broken why change it.

Why are we changing an excellent system to something that does not work as well. The Donegal experience compares much more favourably for communities than that system which applies in Northern Ireland. The system proposed is much more in keeping with the Northern system which benefits communities much less.

Our community group has gotten tremendous help from our local development company. What is proposed is a very poor backwards step

Ballyhoura have served our community well over the years with a commitment second to none
At the recent WLR meeting on this, somebody told me the proposed change is a bone thrown to the local authorities by Phil Hogan.
DLDC is a valued service in the local community please provide continued support,
Donegal
I believe that our communities will suffer if private-for-profit-companies are allowed to replace our Local Development companies!
Don't destroy what has taken years to build up!
I fully support the continuation of the role in the Community of Wexford Local Development.
please help save DLDC
