I have been through the Local Development Company system as I was starting my Irish Food Guide & Irish Food Tours business. I can only speak of the highest standards of assistance and commitment to the participants on the scheme by those in my local office, in Donegal Town. I offer my full support to the network.

It is irrational if any of the administration of this service is going to be centralized and not be done in the local area.

It would be entirely foolish to weaken already existing, working local networks, we should be fighting to improve this service not fighting to save it!!

DLDC is a valuable resource to our community. DLDC have made it possible for me to start my new business.Without their support it would have impossible. Thus,DLDC are supporting unemployed persons to gain their own income,In turn supporting the local and national economy.
