ILDC has achieved much which is of great importance to small communities. Their skills and expertise can achieve much more.

These groups do excellent, priceless work in combatting community and personal problems for people in rural area eg. Loneliness.. Their work goes unseen but without them the gap. Left would be huge

The so called "Alignment" proposals is a step backward for rural Ireland that simply cannot be allowed to happen.

Without the likes of IRD, towns, villages, local sports clubs, local projects, local business would be quickly forgotten. Towns & Villages outside of "the BIG Smoke" will no longer develop. support this great company, support development of your area, many communities and new business' have been helped so much by IRD, they have access to local knowledge and needs of the community
It would be an utter disgrace to loose such an important component of the Duhallow community.

DLDC are a lifeline to the community groups that operate her in Donegal. Not only from a funding point of view but also from a support and advisory capacity. Here in the Gaeltacht MFG were of great benefit to the people sadly they no longer exist now when we thought DLDC would be offering the same services to the communities they're under threat too. We need organisations like DLDC, so please let us keep this vital service.
DLDC has really improved the work of communities across Donegal. Why are we going backwards?

It would be the greatest miscarriage of justice to alter in any way the wonderful work being done by Local Development Companies such as IRD Duhallow.

I would like to fully support the continuation of the existing local Development Companies in Ireland as they have delivered for every Community in Ireland and in particular West Cork for many Years.
