Kilkenny Leader Partnership has greatly assisted in the development of Ballykeeffe Amphitheatre financially but also in the support, guidance and training courses delivered mostly outside of normal office hours and always with a keen understanding of the limitations and potential of small voluntary groups. This vital local resource must not be diminished in any way.

We as a nation can not afford to loose the hundreds of years of rural development experience embedded in each company. The nearly 100 years of independence has seen many errors in the name of progress I fear this could could join that list? More integration 'yes' but this proposed model is too rough, ill considered and short sighted.

Why spend time and effort destroying a great system, and disbanding the skills of an excellent team, who know their roles really well, and have done fantastic work. Seems like a foolish thing to do . especially when we need support the most to create viable businesses.

The New Ross Piano Festival has received good support from Wexford Local Development. This local festival brings much needed revenue into the area, and, as it is a voluntary organisation, needs this help and focus.

It will not serve communities and small businesses well if there is a move away from community bottom up approach.
