Lexington County definitely needs a robust development plan BEFORE lifting the moratorium

We don’t need more growth! These new developments are destroying our beautiful properties and are causing problems beyond our control! They’re destroying every reason we chose to live in Lexington County !

Stop the irresponsible growth. It is becoming miserable to live here anymore. I hear there are openings in MS and Al. We are completely full. No vacancies.

Keep the moratorium in place. Assess builders for infrastructure/impact fees up front.

I live behind one of those tract homes. It has been an awful experience. No trees. Houses do not suit the area. One catches on fire, there will be heavy damage to others. Of course, they are all sold to people up North who are used to being on top of each other. Just wait until the settling starts. Horrible.

I wholeheartedly SUPPORT this! Our county officials should extend this further. We need to take TIME to start evaluating BETTER & RESTRICTING large development especially so close to the lake. Continue to keep SANDY BEACH OPEN!

I believe this hold on development is needed so that a closer look can be made on future scheduled development in the area. This will enable county council time to plan for future growth and development adequately that will help ensure the quality of life for those of us who have already lived for many many years. Our infrastructure can’t continue to handle the sudden burst of dependent. Just 5 short years ago, Chapin High School was a 3A school. Today it is a 5A, possible 6A school. We do NOT want Chapin to turn out like the Lexington area. Traffic is a nightmare now, and it is over run and overdeveloped.

No more big developments until infrastructure is planned and completed, especially roads, which are already full and water, sewer needs...
