There's been too much development without regard for roads, adjoining neighborhoods and other issues. It's time to put some rules in place to determine what is needed to support the finished project rather than dealing with or ignoring the problems that follow.

Presently, our roads cannot accommodate the amount of traffic we are experiencing now. My worry is that there will be an emergency, because of the traffic jams and overcrowded schools. We should be responsible, not greedy.

I live off Wessinger Rd. where I won't be able to reach the highway if all the planned homes are built, not to mention water, sewer needs, and new schools. Uncontrolled growth will destroy the quality of life here for old and new alike.

I'm in favor of planned growth w/ no more than 2 homes/acre; infrastructure already strained. We need another interchange on I-26 between Chapin exit & Peak exit (exit 97), this would take quite a bit of traffic off hwy 76.

Chapin’s growth has risen to a level that it is totally out of control. The roads can not handle the traffic!

There is way to much traffic in our area. It's really getting unsafe to drive. Getting additional people in the Chapin area will only compound the problem.

Minimum lot size, if zoned 4 homes per acre make them quarter ac lots but first fix what we have. As for John's Creek, the power company according to FERC is required to maintain natural habitat around the lake that produces all their revenue. This property was set aside as timberland, timber was thinned as it should have been 7 or 8 years ago. cut it in a few years and plant it back. Developing it will polute the land and lake as are all the local grounds being broken. Next good rain check the coves off of Old Lexington and Wessinger Rd and you'll see, if you don't see, smell, ride by a sewer pump station. That might get your attention every time it rains. That's only the beginning!!! Traffic, 1st Responders, etc etc

I have lived in Timberlake for 31 years and the growth has been so unwieldy and haphazard. Traffic is getting so bad. I don't recognize it anymore.

Chapin's infrastructure cannot handle any more building. It's already a nightmare.

I strongly support this petition and agree with others that the moratorium ought to be extended for at least six more months, if not longer.
