Please stop the rapid fire building in Lexington County. When developers want to build large subdivisions make them donate land for schools and parks, pay for infrastructure to support the impact on the community such as, roadways, traffic signals, and fire stations to name a few.

I support the moratorium. Supportive services need to be in place before any future expansion occurs especially emergency services which were cut back in the Amick’s Ferry area in recent years.

Please stop unbridled development. There needs to be impact studies and publicly available plans for proposed development with a period for public comment. Town of Chapin needs oversight on the issuance of sewer taps related to large development out side of town limits.

This should have been implemented at least 5 years ago before the overcrowding of schools & roads, instead of Lex-Co stating that those infrastructures would eventually catch up.

Allowing the uncontrolled growth of near identical box (or any) houses of 5 to 18 houses per acre is ludicrous. Chapin and Lexington roads, infrastructure, street lights, etc. cannot support or sustain this maddening growth.

I support the moratorium on approval of large scale subdivisions. There is dire need for controlled and managed growth in this county.
Recent growth has overwhelmed schools, roads and public services. Controlled and managed growth sustains solid economic growth. High density housing does not necessarily equate to affordable housing.

I support the moratorium and on large scale subdivisions in Lexington County.
Given the rapid development of Lexington County it would not appear that there is any plan.
The speed and density of this development will outstrip our schools, roads, police & fire departments, water, & sewer systems.
The quality of life, availability of emergency services and costs of this will be unduly borne by current residents. Current and future limitations on development and its density through zoning or other means must be in place to have sensible growth.
We the legal residents of Lexington county have elected officials to manage our county. It is their job to do so. We have not abdicated this responsibility to developers or other parties.

This absolutely needs to be done . As the congestion and lack of services is bad. The roads are in terrible shape and being destroyed with construction traffic. Presently traffic is backed up and snarled every day. It is a night mare

We must get proactive planning before any more houses are built.
