Katerina is a highly respected Middle Eastern dance artist, choreographer, instructor, scholar and producer. I always attend her seminars when she tours South East Asia. She is one of the most dedicated and professional souls I have ever encountered. She brings value to the industry with her knowledge, pedagogy and her earnest warmth. I'm proud to be her student, and she has thousands like me all over the world. She lives and breathes her profession, had she lost the use of her leg and been unable to continue her work, we would have lost a great talent, and Katerina would have been devastated also beyond belief. Dance to her is like breathing for most people. The gross negligence of the doctor almost cost her her livelihood and one of her great passions in life, and the emotional and financial distress the doctor wreaked on her and her family's life is most unjust.

As a physician we must first do no harm, physical or otherwise, and to understand the loss out patients face (potentially or otherwise) when they come to us is part of that duty.

By this I support Katerina and all the belly dance community!
To be a dance teacher is a calling and to nearly lose that because of a doctor is sad.
