Is this how the 4th pillar of so called democracy works ? People like Amit have such fate and the devil wanders in luxury in the country . Shameful .

Ammit is a great friend and a great man who does not deserve ANYTHING but a right to stay here in england. He has recently helped me with many of lifes problems and is a very selfless and humble man. A pleasure to know and a friend for life

Being a journalist & a student of International relations. I agree that India is a dangerous country for journaliats, the recent murder of a journalist has sent shivers among the community. Yet they practice their right to speech & expression. Journalistic world have followed the British path of freedom of expression & free speech, we hope The authorities will keep this in consederation bedore taking any decision.

Hopefully we can all make a difference if we could help this family , one day it could be your own family who needs a hand / signature , even if this is futile just show some support for a family who needs it.

A free press is essential to a free society. As a Nation we should be protecting Amitt not condemning him to further abuse and possibly death.

"One of his close colleagues was murdered". Amitt does the selfless job of exposing corruption, he deserves to be able to do safely.

This man is obviously a hard working person trying to get justice for people and is obviously putting himself in danger because of it. We need people in this country who are not afraid to tell the truth.

It is against everything we believe, to send a journalist to terrible punishment just for doing his job as a journalist. Here we believe in "Freedom of the Press" and not to send people back to countries where they will torture and potentially kill tis someone for exercising free speech.
