Jason is a great officer who cares for his community and is respectful. He is just a victim of the politics and the poor administration.

Bring Jason back to your team. He is a very nice and respectable man and I’m sure he has done nothing but serve the community well.

To be clear, others have done worse within the department(s) and those individuals have never been desciplined as severely as officer Santiago. He has been an outstanding officer and i say he deserves a second chance. Stop with the politics to make the higher officials, mayor and higher look good and let's start doing the job. To serve and protect and to guide and help. The department has done tremendous harm to its self by firing Santiago. Set the story straight (whats the story with the offender and his actions)and hire Santiago back. No one wants to hold the offender accountable for his actions but everyone wants to blame the officer.

Hire him back. Politics was the only thing that caused him to be terminated. Others have done worse but never this severe.
