He needs to be pardon . It was an honest mistake. Officers like this one is what gives them all a bad name and reputation.

I've known James for almost 15 years, he's a good guy and this cop was obviously profiling him. You shouldn't have to go threw this James and I'm sorry. You'll be in our prayers!!!

I believe we should be allowed to carry from state to state if the man kept it a secrete from the officer I could understand this outrage however he was honest and upfront with the officer come on Florida don't be judgmental he has kids to take care of!

Mr. Gotti is married to my niece, and all the years I have known him he has shown me that he is a good Husband and a good Father! There isn't anything he wouldn't do for his Family. I cannot believe that trying to keep them safe could lead to him going to jail. It's just not right! He's a Family man not a criminal, He doesn't deserve to go to jail for making an honest mistake.

I would like to say that James gotti is a good person not violent great father I worked with James in st Pete fl in some bad neighborhoods that put u in fear of ur life so he got his license to cary and some night if did not have his weapon on him we would of ended up in the hospital or worse it is only for protection for work and family again he is a great kind person

One reason any city, county, or state or federal government want to take away all firarms is because of the corrupt govenment leadership throut the usa.. whom have stolen from social security, stolen from pensions, taxed the working class for financial gain. the bottom line is the real crooks are politicians whom have a lot to hide and feel gulity of there wrong doing. and are trying to protect themselves of their wrong doing.. so prov me wrong governor christie.

The fact that he was taken to jail and held oa ridiculous. He consciously made the police aware and because he was passing through a state with a different law he was detained. Complete ignorance.
