I have known this young man for years. I have even worked for him. He is a hard working family man. He should not be locked away. Please let him get back to being a productive, responsible family man!

I hope you beat this, the police and government are out of control and only we, the common citizens, can change things.

His arrest is rediculous and he should be let free. There are higher crimes in St. Petersburg Florida and the criminals just get a slap on the wrist. How about going after real criminals for once?!?! This incident should never have happened and it makes my trust in the US government non existent.

May God be with you. I believe every state should have the same laws. We are not the UNITED states.

I believe in people making mistakes and he had owned up to his. He also followed the law and openly disclosed that he had a permit, where the fire arms where located, positions, and that they were loaded. He did not hide anything and had no intention of using them illegally or intent to disobey the law. This was an honest mistake and to make him serve time would be unjust. We put criminals behind bars, not hard working, HONEST, people. There should be no need for a petition. This is a no brainer!!

I think it's rediculous when state law inforcement from separate states can't work together ,and there should be carry over laws when traveling on connecting hi ways from multiple states .The government needs to realize what there doing to thereselves ,you wonder why when a person is in need common people won't call the police because of actions like these on honest people.you want people to believe in the police and trust the police ,stop screwing the people who pay your salaries.

I believe the police have way more power than they should have and put innocent me in jail everyday while the bad ones run the streets.

There should be an addendum to said laws to allow for on person in vehicle.

This person made an honest mistake, please reconsider his arrest, we have all done this at one time or another, I am assuming that you please give him a chance, he is an honest man by what I have heard and he has a wife and children that need me, in the name of our Lord please reconsider his arrest, may the Lord bless you and keep you. Thank you

stop trying to make criminals out of productive law abiding members of our society. N.J. Has draconian laws, I mean you aren't even trusted to pump your own gas there.
