I find it offensive that the City Council has decided to engauge in protectionism, This is one of the things this Country's founders found to be an anathema to freedom and liberty.

We need choices and competition to keep all on the same page or playing the same game.

We need options and a place for kids. We need Doctors that we can be established with., not just whatever PA is on.

Well, they got by the money hurtle so now let's make them show cause. Let me tell you, the show cause will happen when Integris opens their doors and succeeds or fails and it is their investment, not the City of Alva. We've flopped with Urgent Care because we were not ready and running scared of the competition on it. How about doing an excellent job of what we're here for and stop worrying about the competition.

I enjoy SMC, I still go there to see my PCP cause they are who I trust, but having a 2nd choice in Healthcare in alva would be a good thing, especially if it is with doctors that the surrounding residents already travel to enid to see. It will be like Enid's hospitals that bring in business to the local merchants. When coming to a Dr. Appointment, one always stop to eat while in town or go shopping g to make their trip worth while.
