I live in Middelton and I just recently got made redundant from my latest job and this is a vital hub for the local community to use for effective job searching and getting to know other like minded people. If I hadn't of gone in I wouldn't have known about their plight. We need it to continue as I am now volunteering, giving my valuable skills as my background is an employability tutor, until I find another job.

At Positive Steps, we provide careers information, advice and guidance to young people. Working at The Lighthouse Project has been an ideal way for us to offer access to young people in a supportive environment where there are a range of other services available as well. We hope that the Lighthouse Project is able to continue its vital work in Middleton. Thanks

whoever is making this insane decision needs to have a re think, the lighthouse project project and the sub support services inside is a vital part of the middleton. if this a private landlord forcing them might i suggest a re think on the agreement and bare in mind the public relations fall out which will be severe. the council also need to intervene in this and support a move if that has to be the way forward but location wise the lighthouse project staying put has to be the case.

I think it's great the light house project, it's helped me in the past and give me confidence in appling for jobs as it does for many others. There is plenty of advice and information in other areas like craft sessions and money advice, I find this benificial to myself and will be to the community. I would be unhappy to see the lighthouse project shut down.

As a foreigner ... but feeling already the British citizenship ... and as now unemployed ... I think and I am absolutely certain that we all feel that "The Light House Project" always will be a most worthwhile for everyone in Middleton's ... Best wishes.

I agree with Rachel. My auntie helps out at the Lighthouse Project as a volunteer and gets a lot out of being involved. Please do not evict them!

The centre has helped me with loads of things regarding job searching, and all the staff are great. Also, you can get a brew, and the odd pasty

The Lighthouse Project is the best support network in North Manchester, helping to support communities in Middleton and surrounding areas. I myself have the project a supportive community, dedicated and caring staff. A tremendous resource to feeling valued supportive in the work I do (community work).

If this place were to close, so many people would be affected in a negative way. Please ensure that if it is to move, the facilities made available are even better than they are now

Government cuts have reduced the services that were provided by Rochdale Council and the lighthouse has now taken them over. It must not be allowed to. close
