the food bank is a life line for so many people. they are helping our school feed our children breakfast every morning this is fantastic and without them many children would go hungry. having breakfast sets them up for he day and we want this to carry on.

The Lighthouse Project has give support to people in the community, Middleton and surrounding area. Not only people who are unemployed and need help to find work (It skills, completing job application and job searching). The Centre offers many other services to help people such as IT courses, giving people in the community emotional support and guidance.

I was given many opportunities at the lighthouse, and i saw how people were happy that the lighthouse exist, either because they don't have computer at home or even the internet. I am sure the job centre are happy that the lighthouse exist, because they know the job seekers have a place to use the computer for free.

The lighthouse Project is vital to the community of Middleton and others as I live in Blackley..It is situated in an idealistic place from travelling and alongside the job centre which is convenient. Since I have attended this project I have built up many skills. My confidence has enhanced in computer skills and has been an good experience which has empowered me to use the potential I have within , I'm sure there are many other people that have experience the similiar empowerment . To move this project would effect the local community as friends and groups have also been built up attending this centre as well as learning skills .

The staff at the lighthouse have been really supportive, at a time where i was struggling to get another job. they have also trained me in terms of interview and computer skills. They are always ready to help whenever you pop in! Moving may disorganize or disrupt daily activities that we enjoy everyday1

It is so difficult to find suitable and affordable town ctre venues to support the community in Middleton. Shame on you the owners of Warwick Mill...this & other services that use the mill are essential for local people. We need support not eviction!
