A suspension of any length of time would be shortsighted.

The Ohio Historic Preservation Tax Credit has been a critical development tool in the resurgence of many downtowns throughout Ohio, small and large. Without the tax credit many projects in the works and planned will not happen. There are tax complications associated with grants that would cause the program to be less effective resulting in less dollars making it into the communities.

Our great capital city benefits immeasurably by this tax credit. Historic preservation sends a visual history lesson to ALL citizens-- all age groups, all socio-economic classes, all residents who grew up here or who landed here from other places.

This is sad. The changes in the fabric of Cleveland have mostly been made by the historic tax credits. Please don't stop progress.

unique architecture is joy to the world. dont take that away. 2 yrs could be enough to stall many efforts out, leading to eventual demolition of an otherwise gorgeous jewel of pride within any given community. youll not only be taking from a recourse utilised by non profits, youll be taking away peices of hopes and dreams from the entirety of the community affected wether or not they realise it at any given time. vote no,lt towns keep their soul.

I chose to retire to Columbus Ohio because the city's historic buildings make this such a wonderful place to be.

My city of Cleveland has benefitted immensely from projects that received historic tax credits. Of all the things to cut, this is not one of them.

These are needed to continue the renovation progress. There have to be other areas to cut instead...

Please don't do this. Historic preservation matters. There's much in Middletown that depends on this.

The Ohio Historic Tax Credit is a key ingredient to downtown Cleveland's rebirth, with restored historic buildings offering new housing units, retail spaces and offices. This means jobs for Ohioans. DO NOT suspend this successful program.
