It would be a real shame to suspend this tax credit that is important to preserving our past and also happens to help create work/jobs now. We need both in Ohio!

The city of Cleveland needs this tax credit in order to continue its renaissance. Don't put the brakes on the successful revitalization of our downtown area. This is extremely important to the people who live and work in Cleveland and surrounding areas. We are the backbone of this state. Do what's best for us. You do, after all, represent the people of Ohio.

Our Historic Landmarks need this tax credit. They are very important to Ohio and our future generations. Our government seriously needs to get their priorities straight!

It was such a huge victory to establish a tax credit for historic preservation in this state and it's leveraged billions of dollars, fueled economic development, and revitalized our down towns in ways no other incentive could have done. DO NOT SUSPEND THIS!!

Historic preservation preserves local history and enhances urban cultural life. Historic preservation is often costly; therefore I support maintaining the tax credit.

Youngstown has seen famine for many many years. This is our one chance to see the city flourish and grow. Without the presence of at least a hotel in the city, how can we possible remain a relevant hybrid between our successfully booming counterparts Cleveland and Pittsburgh. Restore the beautiful structures that have survived war and depression. Restore growth and reputation to Youngstown!

This would be a step in the wrong direction for the revitalization of Cleveland and other cities where these credits are used to incentivize developers to improve Ohio cities and not go out of state.

Form a task force to evaluate credits v. grants if you must, but don't suspend this successful program in the meantime.

Our neighborhood, Larchmere in Cleveland, just went through the effort of becoming a National Register Historic District. Our prospects for revitalizing the neighborhood would be seriously hindered if the State of Ohio suspends the Historic Tax Credit program.

A program that works. It delivers an infusion of private investment that brings construction jobs (more for rehab than building a new building). A program that should be expanded.
