Professor KJ Greene is an expert in contract law, music law, and entertainment law currently at Thomas Jefferson School of Law. He has been very supportive of the Entertainment & Sports Law Society at UCI and has come to campus multiple times to give presentations on Copyright, Hip Hop, and licensing in the Entertainment sector. At a recent conference where he presented, he informed me that he had applied to teach at UCI and our board decided to take initiative on behalf of ESLS at large. We currently do not have any full time professors who specialize in Entertainment Law and we also do not have many Entertainment classes offered here. As such, we created this petition to show our support for his hiring. If you went to one of the talks he has hosted for us, or simply feel so inclined to support hiring him, please sign our petition!

I really did not think this would take off like it has when I first hit publish honestly but it feels like the department has to listen now because the energy is just everywhere. It is honestly wild to see how many people want the same expansion in entertainment law that I do and I am just trying to keep up with all these notifications while getting my notes ready for class.

Prof. Green's expertise will add richness to Legal Anteaters' educations, and increased regional relevance to UCI's reputation. The fact that he is a man of color and a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces will also add important perspectives and experience to our faculty.
I am supportive of adding experienced practioners to our school, especially those who have demonstrated passion and loyalty to our programs and students.
I support bringing course offerings in entertainment and sports law to UCI Law, particularly from such an expert attorney.
Prof. Greene is an engaging thought leader in his field. His lecture on music copyright law for UCI Law students this past fall semester was insightful and thought-provoking, and his scholarship in the field of copyright and entertainment law would be a strong addition to UCI Law.
I support the hiring of Professor Greene. I enjoyed his talk on hip hop and law and would sign up to take his class if he taught at UCI.
Professor Greene is an amazing speaker and would be a great addition to UCI Law.

Professor Greene is an amazing speaker. I have seen him present 3 times within a year and his presentations on the same topic were updated and different each time. He would truly be an asset to the school. His expertise and stye is unmatched.
