The Town of Cary officially approved the rezoning plan for the Fryar Property including our required traffic calming measures. We will monitor the site plans during the upcoming development phase to ensure the 25 mph speed limit remains the standard for the new road.

The increase in support has moved this request into the priority queue for the upcoming town planning session. I am currently finalizing the formal request to prioritize the 25 mph designation during the infrastructure review phase.

This rezoning is the only way to keep the area safe. lets get it done.
About time. highcroft drive is a wreck already so we definitely need those speed bumps or whatever they are planning.
PLEASE make it 25 mph. people already fly down our street like they are on a racetrack and it puts everyone at risk.
Agree 100 percent. The traffic calming is a must if they want to put more houses in. keep the speed limit low.
i live right there and support this change. tired of the speeders cutting through.

Finally some sensible planning. Traffic is out of control in this neighborhood and this plan actually addresses it.
