On March 2, 2016, Senator Theodore Orji representing Abia Central Constituency (PDP, Abia State) sponsored a bill in the Senate "An act to make provision for freedom from hunger and the right to adequate food of acceptable quality. It also included the right of every child to basic nutrition, and for other connected purposes."

This bill if passed into law will reduce crime rates drastically and enable underprivileged men and women live sustainably. Even more heart warming is that it is in line with the #ZeroHunger focus of the SDG. Kudos!
Hunger is devastating and shouldn't be allowed in amy sane society...Let us work to end or at least eradicate it.
Hunger is our enemy and we must continue to push for legislations like the Freedom from Hunger bill. I believe the bill will help us achieve the Zero Hunger goal of the United Nation.
