Looks a fantastic opportunity. The RBVC cannot expect to grant permission for thousands of houses to be built without granting permission for amenities and facilities such as this to support them.

Clitheroe NEEDS this development to keep pace with other market towns in the north who have a clear vision of where they are headed. Parking and traffic concerns are part of a much wider debate which RVBC needs to resolve before devoting to any more resources to its own half-baked vanity projects.

The council should work with the developer to get these plans passed. They seem ok at letting hundreds of houses go ahead but not something that will bring jobs to the local economy

Look at cross fit before trying to stop this. Plus all the houses that they have built at the end of Woone Lane. This town needs to get with the times they don't see when someone is trying to bring part of the town to life. Nothing was said when you had 44 foot wagons in of out causing traffic problems and the danger they caused.

I just can't understand why someone would want to suppress investment and jobs in a derelict building??!
