Clitheroe needs something new in this village town as it's getting very boring especial for the young ones, the market is hardly worth going to as half of the market is not opened. there is not realy anything to do, when I moved here in 1978, the town was bustling with shops and a market what had a cattle market and all the old stores which were there then a great market. So please lets have something new. WE NEED IT.

Having not read all the comments or looked at the plans in depth, could there not be a"park and ride" system put into operation to alleviate the parking and traffic concerns. Maybe local schools with car parking space e.g.Edisford Primary could generate weekend income from allowing cars to park?

Come on RVBC councillors recognise that this is a scheme that will benefit the town, unlike all the house building you've approved!

Creates local jobs, both short and long term. Breathes new life in to an historic building and gives some well needed facilities to support the extra houses being built in the area. Not to mention being an attraction for people to visit from out of town. Traffic and parking has always been an issue in Clitheroe, RVBC should be doing everything it can to help find a solution. Be a shame if planning is refused on that reason alone.

Think clitheroe needs this to bring in new visitors to the town plus encourage big names to invest in the town too.
Never mind new jobs too. Sometimes I don't know what the councillors actually want to happen to our town.... Build new houses get their council tax and that's it...... Pathetic

I have lived and own property in the primrose area of Clitheroe and see this potential development being good for all in the community
