Support for the development of Holmes Mill Clitheroe

This is a great scheme that will bring significant and vital private investment into Clitheroe. The applicant has purchased a number of listed buildings in the borough and renovated them in a sympathetic manner and made successes of each one. The company not only generates income but spends millions with local companies and a true success story for the Ribble Valley. I would expect in most boroughs the local authority would bend over backwards to support someone like Mr Warburton sadly however I imagine this hasn't been the case with RVBC!

I think this will be an asset to Clitheroe. It will generate much needed tourism aswell as providing jobs for local people. Going off the standard of other buildings renovated by James places it think it is safe to say they will restore this building sympathetically and tastefully.

Will be a lovely extension to our town that will open up some history to its locals.. It's a must for our town. And it will provide somewhere for all the people living in the "thousands of new homes they have passed planning on" to go!!

Need this hotel for the area.

This would be great for Clitheroe,James,s places are always tastefully constructed in keeping with the heritage of the town.

Creating jobs on a derelict mill site,it's a no brainier to me,

Any scheme that improves local services and job prospects is exactly what we as current custodians of this planet should be doing. Particularly good when it uses existing wasted infrastructure.

This is perfect for the local community clitheroe has nothing like this . Creating jobs boosting economy and tourism not to mention keeping local tradesmen in work for at least 2 years . This should and must get the go ahead.

Any investment into Clitheroe must benefit the town as a hole I welcome this development and hope every sussess let's hope clitheroe council switch there brains on.
