This would be an asset to the area particularly providing work for so many. We should be delighted that someone wishes to regenerate the area.

RVBC hang your head in shame (again) Clitheroe needs more developments like this not 1000's more unwanted houses. Let the people who live here decide what we want not a planning committee full of people from out of town and incompetent people.

RV council stop looking at reasons not to do things and start looking at the reasons to do things!! This will be great for Clitheroe and RVBC need to start promoting ideas such as this!

This development would bring life to this area of town. A venue and hotel would be a great asset, much needed in Clitheroe. Any foreseeable problems should be discussed and a solution sought!

I support this development which can only be good for the town and the area.

As a young resident in the town (aged 28) I think this would be an asset to the growing community. I love that it will be placed close to the centre of the town so local residents are able to access the venue on foot.

The economic benefits for the town must surely outweigh any potential risks such as parking. The issue regarding visitors being drawn away from the town centre itself must be minimal - it is only a short distance and would most likely encourage additional visitors to the area as a whole. All for it!

Buildings like these should be saved sand sympathetically restored. This is a great way to regenerate the mill, and also create jobs, I'm in favour of any tourism / leisure development in Clitheroe.

This would a MAJOR positive step for the general improvement of Clitheroe. The amount of jobs this would create would benefit this town massively.
