Support for the development of Holmes Mill Clitheroe

I support the development of Holmes Mill for main reasons : significant new jobs for Clitheroe, preservation of iconic rare industrial buildings previously redundant, new major facilities and attractions for locals & tourists and new vibrancy and interest to a forgotten Clitheroe central quarter.

This type of development is what Clitheroe is crying out for. It will bring in jobs as well as footfall and income for the rest of Clitheroes businesses.

How can we afford to have all the extra people in the town with all the new houses built but no extra jobs? Clitheroe needs this for it's economy.

This town is crying out for this type of development.

Good for the local economy

Clitheroe requires change anything that brings jobs and a community hub should be allowed planning . They worry about traffic in the area yet agree thousands of homes to be built in the henthorn, standen, and Waddington road area . Is this just greed on the council's doing .

I support this and think it will be great for the town. All of James Places facilities are very attractive places to go. I'm sure this will be the same. Good luck

This is exactly what the area needs and would benefit from and I fully support the plans & further more am excited at the prospect!!

Just what Clitheroe needs

With all these houses the council are letting be built we're going to need these kind off developments and jobs.

we must look forward and not backwards. and we must never hold up progress due to small mindedness or selfishness

This will be a fabulous development for Clitheroe and a massive boost for the local economy. If the application is not approved it will have a detrimental affect on future private investment in the area.

This development will enhance that part of the town .

I would love for Clitheroe to remain a tradional market town with character that draws visitors for that very reason. However, for as long as RVBC fills the high street with characterless multiples and charity shops that just won't happen. We should be encouraging small, individual businesses run and owned by local people. So here we have a larger development proposal which does not really tread on the toes of other businesses. James Warburton has a strong history of sympathetically developing old buildings and from the success of his bars and restaurants, giving people what they want. We should encourage this investment by forward thinking local entrepreneurs. I am not sure, based on past performance what gives RVBC the right to decline the local population and visitors the opportunity to enjoy this tradional mill restored to it former glory and put to good use. Maybe they would rather turn it into houses!! That seems to be their only focus. Let's get behind this campaign, support Mr Warburton and have a voice in our future.

Great idea, i really don't understand RVBC! I'd prefer something like this to benefit C'roe residents rather than yet another housing development.

Can't wait for this to be built! Excellent addition to Clitheroes beautiful community.
