Are used to work at home mill for 11 years and it will be nice to see it turn into something useful other than houses ... which would create jobs

Millions wasted on consultants for developing the market which nobody really cares about when there is a local business willing to invest in & develop a derelict eyesore site creating jobs & attracting visitors. Can't understand these council planning officers at all - they pass plans for thousands of new houses all over town then complain about the potential traffic increase from this one development.

About time Clitheroe came out of the dark ages. This is about growth which every town is chasing yet we still want to stick in the past. History is important but so is this towns future.

This would be a fantastic facility for Clitheroe and the surrounding areas. I hope sense is seen and planning permission granted.

I live really near the mill, it's a dark road to walk up at the moment- redevelopment is the best move in my opinion it will turn a dilapidated building into something that is useable for the community bringing income and jobs to the area. I'm all for it!

A welcome development for the people of Clitheroe from a local businessman who's success is evident.
