Clitheroe has needed a decent hotel for decades. The town is crying out for somewhere for visitors to stay for events,functions, weddings or weekends away. James Places have done wonders with all their other developments creating jobs and establishments to be proud of. So why not this RVBC?

I live very close to the mill, this would be a great asset for Clitheroe. What will happen to the mill if planning not given? It's better than taken away row & all the taxis parked on Woone lane & in the bus stop on Whalley road. RVBC don't want to improve our town

The development of a derelict building is a must, and one which could improve the Historic town of Clitheroe. I live in Burnley in which we have many old mills in desperate need of renovation especially the old Lambert Howarth mill which is a real eyesore and now dangerously in need of re-development. Short-sightedness on behalf of planners could see a once prosperous town go onto disrepair, which is then very hard to re-invent. I support the development of Holmes Mill which would create a wonderful environment for the people of Clitheroe creating further tourism and employment within the town .

This is a fantastic opportunity for the town to keeps its character whilst embracing the new opportunities that this development will bring to an area of town which has been neglected for years can't wait to be able to use this complex

The mill is going to be great; creating many job opportunities for people in Clitheroe and the surrounding areas. Not to mention the economic growth to the area too.

This has the potential to bring the Ribble Valley into this century and make Clitheroe the town it deserves to be. A huge benefit for both tourists and local people!

It would appear that clitheroe council see fit to pass planning permission for homes and supermarkets ? This would creat some fantastic facilities for the town and should be granted permission. Or would the council rather build homes there ? With no facilities or infrastructure ?? Ridiculous

A good plan to increase opportunities in town. A place for all these new residents use and ensure pressures across town are balanced and somewhere for tourists arriving to the new caravan parks to use when they venture into the area.
