This is an excellent planning application, community so in favour of it and not surprisingly. So good to see listed building being saved and hopefully council will vote to save it than see it collapse. Great also for jobs for local people and a thriving community. Just brilliant, hope Councillors make the right decision and approve this scheme.

This will be so good for Clitheroe and surrounding villages/towns. The creation of jobs is reason alone to make this happen! Let alone the progress it will mean :)

Ribble Valley's planning department is not fit for pupose and needs to be closed down. We need a new CEO and council leader, they are hopeless.

Why not let an enterprising local businessman who wants to improve an area of Clitheroe that would otherwise be left derelict or let in a multi chain store and ruin all the local trade
Also this local businessman doesn't seem to have put a foot wrong yet and seems able to judge what the public want .

RVBC passing planning for housing left right and centre on the basis that it will benefit the economy. Yet when something comes up that will actually benefit the economy and create much needed jobs for all the new residents, it gets turned down. No surprise really given the long list of poor decisions made by the same department.
