The city needs this as right now it is a blight on an otherwise beautiful city. The extra taxes to the city are a plus as well as the development will bring much needed jobs in these difficult economic times.

How is this great for Delray? Have any of you even attempted to drive down Atlantic Avenue lately? Not only is the two-lane downtown section completely bogged down, but now even the four-lane section is packed. We do NOT need even MORE cookie cutter high rise apartments or retail boutiques. Our beautiful little downtown is looking more and more like Las Olas every day. NO WAY will I support this.

I grew up in Boca Raton and went to Delray Elementary and Carver middle school. I have lived on N Swinton Ave for 18 years.
S Swinton and the historic homes have been falling apart since I moved to Delray 18 years ago. I think improving Middle Delray would be a wonderful addition to our lovely city.
