I love and support my mom, Sue Redd! I am so proud of her and for 20 years I have admired her amazing ability to do it all as dispatcher. I have been behind the scenes and have seen first hand her love for her job, the officers, and the people she serves. She has the great ability to make quick decisions, prioritize, and she can stay clear and calm through the most difficult circumstances. I know beyond any shadow of a doubt that she deserves a second chance and losing her as a dispatcher would most definitely hurt the great people and travelers of our county!

To all concerned:I have known Sue for most of my life and I have been in the medical field for the past 28years,since she started working as a dispatcher with San Juan County ,the quality of dispatching has improved. Sue has been involved in saving many lives over the past years . She should be considered an extremely valuable employee. Her termination would be an extreme loss to all of us in San Juan County.Sua, we love and support you all the way

It is so hard to find people especially a women like SUE with the abilities and dedication she has for her position. With the values and concerns she has for San Juan County and the people who live and work there. . Really to the powers that be: BE smart and keep Sue in her position. She deserves it!

She should not be fired unless all others involved are also.

I have worked with Sue for most of those years and I think this letter accurately describes the situation. Sue made some errors that night but termination is, in my opinion, excessive.

I don't feel they need to fire her because of one persons big public tantrum.

Sue performed her job adequately! She dispatched the message to several different officers...She is a huge asset to this community. It would be a mistake to fire her.

I've known Sue Redd for 40 years. She is extremely capable, caring, kind and honest. She's a happy person who is friendly and loves to laugh. Sue and her husband's families have a long and great legacy in San Juan County. To let Sue go after 20 years of dedicated, loyal service, would reflect badly on Monticello and San Juan County to see that those years of service are not valued. Sue's many years of experience and service should over ride one incident.

Sounds to me that Sue has taken ownership of her actions and has learned a valuable lesson. We all make mistakes, the difference is some learn from themir mistakes and make the appropriate corrections. I really feel that a second chance would be appropriate.

Sue Redd is an excellent resource that would be a huge loss to the sheriff's office if she were to be terminated. I highly discourage such an action.

Sue is an amazing person. With 20+ years of excellent service she deserves a second chance, along with all the citizens of the county where she has served.

She and Kent shouldn't have gotten fired. If the Media hadn't made such a big deal out of the situation nothing would have been done about it. (Just my opinion. )

I would like to lend my support to Sue Redd and my hope that she will not be terminated. Sue is an upstanding citizen who cares about others. I have known her since I was very young and have always loved her ability to laugh and make others feel at ease. Sue is a good person and does not deserve to lose her job over this unfortunate situation. She deserves support and reconsideration.

Sue is amazing. It would definitely be a mistake to terminate her with all the dedication she has shown in 20+ years of service. She has always served above and beyond her responsibilities.

Sue Redd is a person of great character and has spent 20 years demonstrating her dedication, capability and expertise in her role as a dispatcher. To let her go as a result of a single incident, despite her years of noteworthy service would be a shameful choice for the Sheriff's Office and a great disservice to the county. A better choice is to let professionals learn from small mistakes when they are made so they can be even better in their role going forward, rather than to unnecessarily deprive the county of someone who is a great asset.

She was following directions from her supervisor, she should keep her position.
