Melanie is a sweet and wonderful person! My daughter had her last year in 2nd grade and was a caring and "mothering" kind of teacher that you don't see much of these days. She is always full of hugs and laughter. What a shame to the children that will miss that. Hold strong, Melanie!

Mrs. Lemon is an EXCEPTIONAL teacher!!!!!
She is intentional, kind, encouraging, loving, wise, fair.....I could go on and on.....
I am truly DEVASTATED at the allegations against her......it's shocking, it's wrong and uncalled for. She has incredible integrity. She was my child's FAVORITE teacher at Walnut Grove. She felt loved, supported and cared for. She is the one teacher that really KNEW my child. She looked further than just grades, etc. Mrs. Lemon encouraged my daughter's character. There is no other teacher I could praise more than her!!!!!

Ms. Lemon was my teacher science teacher in 4th grade at Walnut Grove Elementary School. It was my first year moving to this school after being re zoned from my previous school. It is hard for me to accept that she could even be accused of such offense and based on her character and how she accepted me and treated me and my fellow classmates in the classroom makes me sign this petition.
