I'd like to encourage everybody to be careful with your comments. This petition is to support Melanie. It says nothing about bashing parents who feel they were acting in the best interest of their children - not out of any sense of entitlement.
Whatever your feelings about the way the administration handled Mrs Lemon, please don't take it out on the parents.

This is BS. The allegations are beyond reason. The character of this wonderful teacher, wife, and mother is being damaged unjustly. This seems to me very politically driven. Teachers of Ms. Lemon's quality should be supported, not cast aside for no reason. Our education system needs teachers devoted to their students like Melanie Lemon. I support and stand with her.

Melanie was the best teacher to my daughter reese. We love Melanie & support her 100%. She would never hurt anyone especially a child. The fact this is even happening is why many teachers leave the field of teaching bc in today's society children & parents feel so entitled & don't own up to their OWN responsibility of raising their own children & put the blame on others. This is just ridiculous! I hope Melanie ends up teaching at a middle school that my child attends in the future so they can have her as their teacher again! We love her & will always support her! She is an excellent teacher. I am disgusted this would even go this far. Walnut Grove just lost one of their best teachers & why we probably earned the blue ribbon award is bc of teachers like her. Sad day for walnut grove. Melanie we love & support u always!!!!!!!!!!!

Melanie Lemon is my friend. What she has been forced to deal with this school year is unimaginable. As a community we need to work together to right the wrongs and welcome our parents, neighborhood and friends back into the school. I love you Melanie and thank you for sticking it out and let us represent you!
