I cannot believe a teacher would be treated so poorly over this situation. My kids knew if they got in trouble in school they would get in trouble again at home. The problem in schools today is teachers have all day with many kids whom are not disciplined at home thus causing disruptions for the entire class. As a parent volunteering in classrooms there were a few kids over the years disrupting my child classroom which is frustrating for children who can behave and want to learn. With all of the positive comments on this board Ms. Lemon clearly has a wonderful reputation in the community. I appreciate Ms. Bowen (retired WGES teacher I know well and trust her opinion) coming forth to tell her observation of this event. This is an extremely upsetting situation.

This is not the first time the Williamson County Board has behaved in this way. That's why it's so important to sign this petiton.

this is ridiculous. One child claims an incident happens and the teacher is treated this way? When do the parents tell their child they should have been behaving and listening and then maybe the teacher wouldn't have had to tell them to stop it and put their hands on them. Exactly what's wrong with our society. And the administration should be backing their educator.

Two of my very best friends had this wonderful woman as a teacher and they've told me every day how much they love and miss her. I hope that she can continue to positively impact more children's lives for years to come.
