Melanie is such a great person and teacher. As an educator myself, it is scary to see what can happen to a great teacher who cares for her students.

I have known Melanie for 25 years. I knew the instant I met her what a blessing she was going to be in my life. She is a fabulous loving caring Godly woman. I would not think twice to leave my child with her. I know that he would be loved and cared for by her just as if it were me. Love you Melanie!!

Mrs. Lemon was my third grade teacher 13 years ago. She has always been my favorite teacher and always made me feel loved, encouraged, and safe in her classroom. I still remember one day I had forgotten my lunch money and Mrs. Lemon paid for my lunch out of her own pocket and would not let me pay her back the next day. That is what sets Melanie Lemon apart. She genuinely loves her students and takes the time to get to know them on a personal level. I am now a college student studying Elementary Education and have kept in touch with Mrs. Lemon. We frequently talk and she is always willing to help with anything I need. As a matter of fact, I recently CHOSE Mrs. Lemon to shadow in order to obtain observation hours toward my teaching degree. I have also written two college papers about how Mrs. Lemon has positively impacted my life and inspired me to be an educator. I was in her classroom for an entire day this past March, and I saw nothing but absolute love and passion for her students and impeccable instruction. I even wrote three pages of notes to use in my future classroom. She also had multiple former students come to her classroom just to get a hug! I hope to be half the teacher and woman that Melanie Lemon is.

I've never met a better human being than Melanie Mitchell Lemon and I've known her for over 20 years. She's kind, compassionate, and empathetic. She is a person of strong integrity and character with such a big heart. A friend for life...you know you are surrounded by love. Melanie Lemon is an amazing teacher who is beloved by her students and parents, and respected by fellow teachers. I have personally known Melanie for several years through Walnut Grove and church. Melanie is a wonderful person with great integrity. It's shameful how she has been treated by WCS, and should not be tolerated.

Although I never had the opportunity to have Mrs. Lemon as a teacher, I can truly say that she is one of the best ones out there. While I had a different teacher, she always made me feel loved and supported no matter what. She is full of compassion and kindness and shows that in her teaching and most things that she does!!
