Mrs. Lemon was my third grade teacher at Siegel Elementary School. I remember her as always being so smiley and bright! The news of the actions being taken against her are completely shocking and do not reflect the character of the teacher I remember. The 9/11 attacks occurred the year I was in her class. One of my biggest memories that day was how she handled the situation and how comforting she was in such a scary time. She always went above and beyond for her students and always did so with a smile on her face! She deserves to be recongnized, not reprimanded. This school is truly at a loss with her resignation.

School administration need checks and balances, and teachers who create unprofessional drama with other teachers should be terminated. Good luck Melanie!

We support you!!! The same thing happened to my best friend!!! They worked in WCS for 13 years and had the highest scores of any teacher in Williamson County in their specific subject area. Impeccable teacher, LOVED by parents, practically idolized by students, never once congratulated by a single central office administrator for their sensational test scores and innovative approach to education.
But one day, Looney turned against them after a misunderstanding. He threatened them, bullied them, and they finally resigned, forcing out one of their best teachers over nothing! The parents and students were FURIOUS!!! This power-hungry man, short in stature with a major Napoleon complex, is VERY dangerous!

Outrageous. Looney is an embarrassment and doesn't belong in this county and needs to be stopped I know Melanie personally as a friend and a client and what was done to her is a travesty. It's long overdue that this bully be kicked out of the entire school system
