Health care works best when consumers have all the choices I support this change and would like to see Athletic Trainers be able to work to the fullest extent of their education and scope

ATCs deserve to work with any active population and have the skills/knowledge to do so.

Athletic trainers are well equipped to deal with all active bodies. Maryland should match other states and expand its limited definition of what an athletic trainer is and can do.

I’m very familiar with the vast education, knowledge and clinical skills of athletic trainers. The volume of their interactions and treatments with those they deal with far exceeds other medical professions giving them a depth and breadth of knowledge that is truly remarkable. Our health care system functions best when all its parts are fully engaged.

Going to school for my Masters in AT but plan on moving back to the East Coast and Maryland was an option.

This bill would provide the citizens of Maryland with greater access to health care professionals. A win for everyone.

Athletic trainers can be utilized in many different fields and it is only beneficial to exercise their skills in those locations!

AT’s should have the ability to treat the physically active and not just the athlete.

Good work by the MATA. Let's hope the MD state legislature follows this lead.

Eliminating workplace restrictions is only using common sense. If a student needs help and a trainer is available they shouldn't need to be concerned about legal consequences by providing aid (and I know my trainers wouldn't be - they would help my students regardless). It is time to put an end to the red tape.
