Lack of consultation with parents for this much needed service. Support KCA at St Joseph's Merewether.

Please reconsider retaining KCA for the benefit of those that need it most

A high quality and trusted service that should be retained for the benefit of the local Merewether community.

Supporting the return of KCA. This shows just how out of touch the CDM-N is with the community.

very poor planning on behalf of the Catholic Diocese system - why take away the team that everyone is happy about??

i am particularly disappointed in the lack of consultation with key stakeholders and feel that sets a certain vibe of what to expect moving forward with the new provider. No courtesy has been demonstrated and to expand upon that, the letter presented by St Nicholas claiming that KCA refused to extend their contract.....well honestly, why would they? Sounds to me they were asked to extend but only briefly to make the poorly managed transition smoother for the new provider after being shown no respect during the process (I’m assuming it wasn’t a case of there being a tender that KCA didn’t win, it’s the NM diocese electing to bring the services in-house through their own providers). The whole change piece has been managed very poorly and to be honest, the diocese should be ashamed of their lack of commitment to their values or even at a minimum, any common courtesy. And dare I say it.....typical.

Please don’t change the team at OOSH who have formed such an integral part of the school and it’s community.

No thought has been given to children who use this service, nor the parents. Let alone the staff. What are the powers that be thinking about - needs reversing.

The KCA team are a vital part of our school community. The lack of transparency and the appalling communication by the diocese are simply not acceptable.

For once can't we think of what's best for the children. Our children have a strong bond with the staff of KCA and ive never witnessed any other service that comes close to the service offered by Renee and her staff. It's been six months since KCA left Corpus Christi and although they are providing a care service they haven't developed the bond with my child that Renee was able to achieve. KCA feels like family and gave working parents total peace of mind that their children are nurtured and genuinely cared for. Why do this? Just let KCA continue to offer the superior care and do what they love. This is the logical solution if we are really putting our children's best interests first.

We should be supporting our community and small business, not counting penny’s that will most likely not even benefit our children.

For the leaders of our diocese to put a business owner who has served our catholic community ‘out of business’ with only one months notice and to do so less than 4 weeks before Christmas is unchristian.
