We need glass recycling desparetly. It is a bad message to the community when the city with the University of Wyoming (conservation) does not glass recycle.

In spite of the cost, when considering the volume of glass involved in what we purchase and thus through a way for the sake of a cleaner community and less of an addition to our trash we should bring glass recycling back to Laramie.

I'd like to think I love in a forward thinking town, laramie was one of the first in the nation to go smoke free, were on top of sustainable energy and not long ago it was just as easy to recycle as it was to throw something out. Laramie desperately needs a glass recycling program!! Let's continue to be a community that thinks outside the box!!

We need to recycle glass in Laramie. I am trying not to purchase any food items packaged in glass jars/bottles. I am also trying to store what I have in my garage until I get too much. If we don't begin another recycle program in Laramie, I guess I'll just throw all my glass waste in the trash.

This program should not be stipulated on its economic success but continue purely because it enables everyone to be good stewards. Therefore this program needs to be implemented as soon as possible even if that means we need to dig a little deeper into our own pockets to ensure its success.

I was very disappointed that the Laramie needed to cancel glass recycling because of the cost.

I look at my wine bottles and jars sadly before I turn the litle orphans loose in the dumpster.
