We have created this petition to support Eva Juarez, our International Student Engagement Specialist at Bellevue College. Due to budget concerns her position is threatened to be cut off, however, she has been a crucial part of the international student community at BC for many years, and we believe she deserves to stay and keep supporting our efforts to grow diversity, engagement, and relationships at BC among international students and the community at large. So, if you wish to support, please sign this petition to show Bellevue College President and Dean of International Education and Global Initiatives how valuable her work has been and how important she is to the college. No International Student Engagement Specialist = Fewer Events Why we are even attending BC then?
Eva helped me go through the hardest time when studying at US. Her support and carefulness to international students are important!
Eva has been an essential part of my life as an International dtudent. She has made the International office a true family. She id extremely passionate about whatvshe does and she truly cares about students from the bottom of her heart. The disappearance of her position is a threat to the International office, student life as well as student jobs here at Bellevue College
I have worked under the leadership of Eva Juarez for 2 years as a Global Ambassador and she’s the best boss I have ever had! BC needs her!
Eva is one of the most supportive, friendly, and responsible staff I’ve met at BC. I can’t imagine what my BC experience would be without her. Her work has helped international students so much and BC will absolutely need her as there are more in-person events and more international students coming to BC.

Eva Juarez has been a great advisor for not only international students but also BC students in general with a warm heart. It would be a big loss for BC to lose a staff who listens, acts, and devotes for students.
