I support this account. Life in Burien has become very disturbing. the City seems to concentrate on increasing taxes and I'm not sure what we are getting for them.

Where are our tax dollars going? Certainly not for the citizens that are paying into the system. Is our mayor ans city council trying to copy the blueprint from Seattle? We need more police and law enforcement NOT less.

I know many people who come to Burien to spend there money and around our community and join our community events. We don’t need crime or unsavory people pushing our visitors away. Let alone push away the actual members of our community

I do most of my shopping and errands in Burien. I used to let my kids go to the dollar store while I grabbed a few items at grocery outlet. No longer. If we are in Burien my kids cannot leave my side. I am constantly on guard. The businesses (and the moms and the kids) of Burien Deserve better.

We need the council to focus more on what we need in our community, not on things that we will not be able to control. The business community has said it very clear, they(we) have problems that we have not confronted and dealt.
